Halloween is kinda lame.

Celebrating Halloween doesn't mean your a "devil worshipper." I kinda laughed when i read this article with my sister because, she said our mother used to not let her celebrate Halloween or play dungeon and dragons  and Rainbow brite was gay pride haha (which is odd now), but that is besides the point Halloween is fine to celebrate as long as your not actually doing devil worshipping activities, we are not celebrating the devil's birthday we are just kids that want candy, but anyways i hate Halloween its useless (: that's all

Special Olympics(:!

well honestly i thought i was a mean person until today  i was so scared because like five seconds before i got my people i pretty much almost got beat up by a special person, i learned so much from these people like being patient, i thought i didn't have that virtue and how to be a good sport i had a lady that gutter balled it every time but yet she was happy regardless. These people are so amazing although it took like 15 hours to bowl, yet i enjoyed every second of it. They are so sweet and caring and cared about each other and always cheered each other on, unlike many of us that are bad sports. I had a lady named Sandra , she was awesome she was the sweetest woman i have ever met and gave me hugs constantly, i also had a girl named tracy she loved my smile apparently because she slapped my face every three seconds and said "cute smile" and then the pistol Julie she had a sassy attitude and got distracted easily, but she was adorable. she had a "man" and it was seriously true love, perfect match. Finally, Jan she was about four foot tall and she didnt talk much unless she was mad at me because i helped her bowl but she was awesome. I loved this experience, it helped me not to be so selfish and realize that these people really are "special. (: (:

Mr. Bishop day!

On the day mr bishop was here i learned so much about other races like that there is only a 2% difference in every ethnicity and he explained so well that there is only on race in the whole world and that we shouldn't base people off there skin color and see how ignorant that sounds?. I enjoyed having Mr. Bishop as a sub while Mr. Mendenhall was gone (:

Andy Braner week.

Andy Braner from camp KIVU came to our school the whole week to speak to us in chapel. The first day he pretty much introduced himself and his family and asked up two basic yet complex questions: "Is the sky really blue"and "Is God real", and he answered the last question throughout the week he was here.

Believe?(day1)

He challenged us in what we believed on tuesday. he taught us about objective and subjective truth. Objective truth (good truth) this means we know what we know is true. Subjective truth (not so good truth) its when we are influenced by others opinions.

Behave? (day 2)
Andy gave us five points for this day:

 You are what you eat
           -What you put in your body is what your body becomes
           -Same is true for your spiritual life
2. Junk food changes your physical shape just like thoughts change your behavior
           -What you spend your time thinking about is what you become
3. Junk food causes heart problems and confuses your body's natural function, just like unhealthy spiritual things can confuse your spiritual life
           -What you put in is what you get out
4. Junk food tastes great in the short term, but in the long term leads to adverse side effects
           -Watch what you put in your head
5. An apple a day keeps the doctor away
           -Put good spiritual things in your body at least once everyday


On Thursday (day 3-4) this is the day that i need to work on personally, he taught us about how the media affected us like on facebook and our music choices he showed us three music videos

the first song is good secular  spiritual food Bruno is explaining how she is beautiful just the way she is, unlikd the three other songs Teenage dream is explaining false love and Rehab and love the way you lie represent obsession which is not TRUE LOVE.

Belong? (5) andy explained on this day is that all we want to do is be with other people and we just want to be understood by others.

Suming this up having Andy all week was awesome and i learned so much (:

Best friends forever(:

The qualities look for in a friend, is a friend with a good christian background and they know God, because if they have that one vital quality every other quality pretty much falls into place. I need to become a better friend and tell my non christian friends about God and not argue with them about their views and just tell them in a nice proper way about Jesus.

Slow dancing in a burning room.

My view on this song is that its about a relationship slowly and painfully ending. It is ending because the spark isn't there anymore and apparently John mayer feels as though he is the only one hurting in the situation and hes hate towards the woman . The mood on this song is very dark and depressing. This Song should be listened to sometimes, because i think it comes off slightly secular and non christian like.
